Questions

Before you give

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, to the extent allowed by law. Gifts are made to the Armenian Apostolic Church of Seattle Community Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 91-1189180.

Why monthly, and why three years?

Steady monthly gifts give the project predictable funding for planning, permits and construction. Three years covers design, building and opening. After that, rental income from the hall, kitchen and classrooms is planned to keep the center self-supporting.

Can I start my pledge later?

Yes. Choose January 2027 on the pledge form and we'll follow up when it's time to begin.

Can I make a one-time gift instead?

Absolutely. Use PayPal or mail a check for any amount, or add a one-time gift on top of your monthly pledge.

How will I know where the money goes?

We publish what has been raised and spent on our home page, as reported by the project treasurer, and update it as the project moves forward.

Who do I ask if I have questions?

Email the fundraising committee at armenianswa@gmail.com. We're happy to help.
